To stay current in technical and economic fields, we are active members of professional organizations for Quality, Production, Inventory Control, Training, and Information Technology.  In addition to active consulting with industrial clients, we participate with local area colleges and business organizations in seminars and workshops, and have also developed university level curriculum for Material Management Business Management, Operations Management and Computer Science subjects.

John J. Boyle, CPIM, CIRM, is President of Cypress Group. John's 30 years of experience include assignments in Production Control, Marketing, and Management Information Systems.  He has designed Manufacturing Control systems for diverse industries such as electronics, consumer goods, petrochemical, and aerospace.  His experience includes distribution, manufacturing, inventory management, production planning, master scheduling, marketing, and purchasing as well as ERP, JIT, Quality Improvement and Lean project implementations.  He is an experienced ISO/AS/QS 9000 Lead Assessor.  John has taught manufacturing management courses for the LI Chapter of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS),  He is an Adjunct Professor and has taught business and computer science courses at the University level.  John holds a BBA in Management and an MS in Industrial Management. 

Joan M. Gladky, CPIM, Managing Director, has worked in the areas of Quality Improvement, Employee Involvement, Lean Manufacturing, Training Development, Administration, Information Technology, and New Product Development.  She has designed and implemented projects in the areas of Quality Improvement, ISO 9000, AS9100, QS9000, ERP, Process Improvement Teams, and JIT.  Joan is a member of APICS and ASQ.   She is certified as a Quality Management Systems Assessor to the ISO 9000 Standard.  Joan holds a BS in Computer Science and an MBA in Management.  She is also a frequent speaker at professional organizations.
